Stay visible
without becoming interchangeable.

I have been part of this market since 1990. Today I make a hand-picked group of photographers visible where the decisions are made. Everything is here to read in your own time: what I do, where you become visible, what it costs and how we begin.

Who I am, in two minutes

27 years running a classic representation in the international advertising photography market, and since 2018 promotion and guidance for no more than 20 artists.

The market right now

The market is rearranging itself.

Advertising photography is going through a deep shift. AI-driven productions are changing budgets, timelines and the way decisions get made. In a field that keeps becoming more efficient and more comparable, the real task is not to get better. It is to stay visible without becoming interchangeable.

Securing relevance. Those who understand the shift and use it deliberately have a say in how their work is seen, judged and chosen.

Taking on a new role. Professional photographers work as visual solution providers today. Technical skill alone is no longer enough for that.

Claiming creative authorship. A clearly recognisable visual language is the difference. It creates recognition, trust and stance.

Who is beside you

I know this market from the inside.

Can you imagine the smell of a bakery? Fresh, warm bread filling the whole room. That is the world I grew up in, in my parents' bakery in Nuremberg, where I was born in 1960.

My path led through interior design and organic sheep farming before my love of photography brought me into advertising. Since 1990 I have been deeply rooted in the international advertising photography market.

For 27 years I ran a classic representation and coordinated thousands of productions worldwide. In 2018 I opened a new chapter. Today my focus is the strategic promotion and mentoring of a hand-picked group of talents.

“I love what I do. And I use my experience so that artists stay visible in a market that keeps changing.”

What I do for you

Two things that belong together.

I can place you as often as you like: if it is not clear what you stand for, it stays noise. And the clearest positioning is worth nothing if nobody gets to see it. That is why, for me, the two belong together.

  1. 01

    Promotion

I place your work regularly and consistently where decisions are made. In my B2B newsletter, on Instagram, on GoSee and on Inpholio. Your portfolio sits on my website, linked back to your own channels.

  2. 02

    Guidance

I am your business ally. We work on pricing and usage rights, on positioning, portfolio, self-marketing and on using AI in a way that makes sense. I give you strategic feedback, stay beside you for the whole term, and we adjust the direction together when something changes. We stay connected through WhatsApp, phone and Zoom.

The channels

Where you become visible.

No claims. Take a look.

Investment

Choose how visible you want to be.

All three routes run for six months. Your portfolio on my website and the ongoing guidance are part of every one. What differs is how often I place you and how often we talk.

All prices are net and cover six months. Clients in Germany pay 19 % VAT on top. For businesses in other EU countries with a valid VAT ID, and for clients outside the EU, I invoice without VAT. Book a full year and you get 10 % off. The invoice comes once your portfolio is online on my website, and your six months start from that moment. Single 1:1 coaching sessions can be added at any time, 200 € net for 60 to 90 minutes.

Plain and clear

What I do. And what I don't.

So that our work together is clear from the start, I tell you both sides.

What I doPromotion and guidance

  • Strategic positioning, worked out together with you.
  • Curated, editorial visibility on the platforms your clients read.
  • Continuous market presence over months, not single campaigns.
  • Personal mentoring on market dynamics and pricing.
  • Every enquiry that reaches me goes straight to you or to your agent.

What I don't doand I would rather say it upfront

  • No commission. My service is fee-based and therefore a transparent, independent alternative to classic representation.
  • No cold calling and no portfolio appointments. That is not my way.
  • No production. I don't handle organisation, estimates or the running of shoots.
  • No passing on of data. My B2B database is neither shared nor sold as an address list.

Before you ask

The questions that actually come up.

How does the pool work?

The pool holds no more than 20 hand-picked artists. I don't take on more, because otherwise I can no longer look after anyone properly. I distribute selected images, films and behind-the-scenes material to my network and through my channels. Enquiries go directly to you or to your agent, not through me.

Why a minimum of six months?

Because visibility needs time and repetition to build trust with decision makers. A single publication fades. Visibility is not a sprint, it is a marathon.

Does the membership renew automatically?

No. After six months you decide freely how to continue. There is no silent renewal and no notice period you have to keep track of.

What do I get if I book a full year?

10 % off the total. And it does not lock you in for twelve months: you can step out with effect from the end of the sixth month, by telling me in writing 30 days beforehand. The first six months are then charged at the regular six-month price, the discount falls away and you get the rest back. From my experience: the second half-year is where the continuity starts to pay off, because your name is no longer new when someone reads it.

How does payment work?

You only get the invoice once your portfolio is live on my website. Nothing costs you anything before that. From the moment your portfolio is online, your six months run. All prices are net. Clients in Germany pay 19 % VAT on top. For businesses in other EU countries with a valid VAT ID, and for clients outside the EU, I invoice without VAT.

Can I book a coaching session without joining the pool?

Yes. Single 1:1 coaching sessions are 200 € net for 60 to 90 minutes, independent of any membership.

What do you need from me?

Image material you hold the publishing rights to, and a short note on how you want to be credited. With every publication I name you and the web address you give me, so that anyone interested lands with you directly.

The process

How we start.

You are not paying for a promise. The invoice comes once your portfolio is live.

  1. 01

We get to know each other

30 minutes on Zoom. You tell me where you stand, I tell you how I work. Afterwards we both know whether it fits.

  2. 02

    We both say yes

If it fits for you and for me, you write me which route you want.

  3. 03

    You send me your material

The work you want to be seen with. I'll tell you beforehand exactly what I need and in what form.

  4. 04

    I build your portfolio

Your work gets its place on andreaheberger.de, linked back to your own channels.

  5. 05

    Then comes the invoice

It arrives once your portfolio is online. From that moment your six months run, and I start placing you.

The first step
is a conversation.

Book a slot, 30 minutes. You tell me where you stand right now, and I'll tell you how I work.

Afterwards we both know whether it fits. I work with no more than 20 artists, so this is not a decision I make on the side.
